Throughout the year, ATLNext’s Business Diversity office hosts a series of events and programs geared toward networking, business development and growth opportunities within the airport. Below is a highlight of each of these events.
ATL Behind the Scenes
These bi-monthly workshops train companies how to do business with ATL. Subject matter experts address safety and security requirements, bonding and insurance, joint ventures and more.
Small Business Development Program
This 15-week program offers intensive construction management for small businesses seeking opportunities with the City of Atlanta. Courses include contract administration, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) overhead development, scheduling, construction accounting, estimating, bidding, OSHA 10 Certification and more.
Partnering with A Purpose
This annual networking experience allows ATL contractors to present upcoming project opportunities as well as construction-related services and trades they are seeking.
ATLNext Contractor’s Roundtable
Quarterly discussions assemble ATL leadership along with prime and subcontractors supporting ATLNext. Platforms allows contractors to give and receive input and identify action items and solutions.
ATLNext Industry Day
Each spring this day-long conference updates the business community on ATLNext projects and offers tips to best position businesses and vendors to qualify, peruse and successfully work at ATL.
A luncheon is held in conjunction with the ATLNext’s Industry Day along with an award ceremony that honors the achievements, and outstanding performance of ATLNext Contractors, Subcontractors and Consultants.
