Innovative work is underway as construction starts at ATL – all part of the Airport’s 20-year capital improvement plan ATLNext. Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 7, all food, beverage and retail locations near the main security checkpoint will be closed to make way for the new extended queuing lanes and smart security system. These improvements will boost efficiency in passenger screenings, ultimately decreasing security wait times before flight.
Don’t worry: Your favorite retail and dining locations aren’t going away. They are simply a few train stops. For your convenience, we’ve listed alternate locations available to you post-security. Remember to download the iFlyATL mobile app for a complete listing.
