Construction Underway at Concourse F
Work has started at Gate F3 to equip an additional gate at the International Terminal with the capacity to accommodate an A380 plane operated by any air carrier, including Korean Air. A380 aircraft are the largest passenger airliners in the world, and they require special facilities to allow for their arrival and departure.
The proposed expansion at this gate will not only make an A380 plane possible, but also greatly shorten the walking distance to Immigration and Customs for passengers currently gating at E3.
What does this mean for you?
Construction is primarily taking place on the exterior, with minimal impact on passengers at this time.
